Researchers develop stain proof fabrics |

July, 2010 – CeNTI partnership projects coming to market. A coffee, wine or oil proof fabric that will be transformed into tablecloths and napkins, a leather free of unpleasant odors and dyed with environmentally friendly substances as well as a tile that is also a light switch. These are the latest CeNTI – Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials and other company partners innovations being developed in Famalicão and soon available on the market. May, 2010 - WALL-IN TEX - Multilayered Structures for Multifunctional Coating of Interior Walls, a project developed in partnership with TERMOLAN - Thermal Acoustical Insulation, SA, a textile company Domingos Sousa & Filhos, SA, CITEVE (coordinator) and CeNTI (assigned for thermal simulation of materials and buildings), was one of the highlighted projects in the Tektónica Innovation Area on the largest construction exhibition being held in Portugal that took place from 11 to 15th May at FIL, Lisbon. |
