November, 2007 - CeNTI was represented with a stand on the High Level Conference on Nanotechnologies, organized by the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union under the program EU2007PT.

November, 2007 - It has come to end the 1º  CeNTI workshops period with the session "CeNTI and its acitivity main guidelines", held in CITEVE, Covilhã facilities, on the past November 7th. This session was attended by 25 participants from companies and entities of the region.

In this first industry approach one can add that results were quite positive, revealing the companies interest for advanced and new technologies and materials.

November, 2007 - Less than a year and a half since foundation, CeNTI is presenting its activity guidelines to the industrial entrepreneurs of the sector. This first period of workshops has registered a high level of participation from companies and now reaching Covilhã, Beira Interior.

The next CeNTI session taking place in Famalicão will be held next 31^st October at Hotel Moutados on the subject "Usage Simulation Processes and Performance Evaluation".  This workshop will focus on testing with thermal manikin (sweating) and climatic chambers among other systems and equipments for assessing performance.

Like the other three workshops, this session will open with a Center presentation, characteristics and purposes, including the pursuit of new materials and processes development  for future application in textile, clothing and leather industries, followed by a debate.

However the workshops will not only take place in Vila Nova de Famalicão, but also in Covilhã, Beira Interior. On November 7^th, it will be held another and the last session, by the name “CeNTI and its main activity guidelines”, gathering all previous workshop issues.
