Well, that may soon have a literal meaning. Scientists from Georgia Institute of Technology have devised a sort of brush-like fibres that generate energy from movement.

If used to create smart clothing, these fibres may allow to harness body movement to power electronic gadgets….offering a potential new meaning for the expression… “powerful clothing”.
