PEEP – Development of an energy efficiency certification label for building products: paints, insulation and masonry

The project PEEP – “Promoção da etiquetagem energética de produtos” gives continuity to the project CEEMSC – “Rótulo voluntário para certificação de eficiência energética de materiais e soluções construtivas” and aims the development of an energy efficiency certification label for building products like paints, insulation and masonry.

The project will help to create a label aimed a collective of manufacturers and marketers of building products. The label will promote the competitiveness of companies now that they will have a tool to generate information that will allow them to differentiate themselves positively.

This label will promote the competitiveness of companies through the use of the labelling tool to generate information that will allow them to differentiate positively regarding other market competitors and increase their visibility in the market.

This co-promoted project of 368 280 Euros results of a collaboration between CeNTI and ITeCons - Instituto de Investigação e Desenvolvimento Tecnológico em Ciências da Construção, co-funded by QREN Operational Agenda for Competitiveness Factors in 207 483 Euros, from European Regional Development Fund.
