SENSE Project – Sensorizing Solutions for Light and Multifunctional Fuel Tanks for Aircrafts and Other Vehicles

Beginning in 1^st of May of 2013 the SENSE project has the objective of developing new technological solutions to reduce the weight of fuel tanks measuring systems, allowing a direct integration within composite structures. The application on systems of this nature will be the future due the present trend on the different sectors and on the search for alternatives to metallic materials in order to reduce weight and increasing the vehicle efficiency.

The project was completed on 30^th June of 2015, and featured the participation of leading promoter Critical Materials, and co-promoters CEIIA - Center for Excellence and Innovation in the Automotive Industry and CeNTI - Center for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials.
