Breathe2seat - Breathable artificial leather for automotive interiors

The project Breathe2Seat aims to validate and optimize, from the technological and industrial point of view, PVC based artificial leather systems with improved breathability and moisture management properties, which were developed on the R&D project PT21-Powered Textiles 21-PPS1: Autosolutions.
With an overall investment of 286 209.88 €, this project is co-financed by Portugal 2020, under the Operational Programme for Competitiveness and Internationalisation (COMPETE 2020), in the amount of 170 888.86 €, from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The Breathe2Seat project started in January 2016 and will last for eighteen months, with TMG Automotive as promotor and CeNTI – Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials as partner.

O projeto demonstrador Breathe2Seat tem como objetivo a validação e otimização, do ponto de vista tecnológico e industrial, de sistemas de pele artificial de base PVC com propriedades melhoradas de respirabilidade e gestão de humidade, desenvolvidos no âmbito do projeto de IDT PT21–Powered Textiles 21–PPS1: Autosolutions.
Com um investimento global de 286 209,88 €, este projeto é cofinanciado pelo Portugal 2020, no âmbito do Programa Operacional Competitividade e Internacionalização (COMPETE 2020), no montante de 170 888,86 €, provenientes do Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional (FEDER). O projeto teve início em janeiro de 2016, tem uma duração de 18 meses, e conta com a participação do promotor líder TMG Automotive e do co-promotor CeNTI – Centro de Nanotecnologia e Materiais Técnicos, Funcionais e Inteligentes.
