Portugal: Inauguration of CeNTI – Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials
The Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials (CeNTI), located in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal, is a new public-private institute for materials research, development and prototyping. The purpose of the centre is to support companies and their research partners in the development of smart materials, advanced fibres and multi-nanocoatings by providing facilities and expertise that are rarely available inhouse. This reduces the client’s level and risk of capital investment.
