Disruptive technologies to boost the Industry
Green4Industry - Boosting Technology Transfer for a Sustainable Industry intends to catapult the business sector into the international arena based on emerging and relevant concepts such as sustainability and intelligent digital transformation.
Scientific and technological knowledge transfer to the Industry was promoted through demonstration, dissemination and valorisation activities of CeNTI's research results and its economic exploitation by companies and markets.
The innovation factor
Within Green4Industry, a set of innovative demonstrators were developed by means of disruptive technologies, namely:
- Energy: A seamless modular construction structure integrated with photovoltaic panels, which incorporates a luminophore pigment, improving their performance, and a functional anti-dust and waterproof coating, reducing the need for maintenance and improving the ability to capture light;
- Industry: Representation of a packaging transport circuit, where printed temperature and impact/collision sensors and NFC tags were integrated, enabling companies and their customers to ensure the products are transported or stored in the best conditions, as well as its monitoring and tracking;
- Transport: Structure containing bio-based composite materials, whose surfaces can be functionalised by applying different functional coatings and intelligence, such as printed capacitive sensors and an electroluminescent alphanumeric display.

The Green4Industry Project was co-financed by Portugal 2020 under the COMPETE 2020 and European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
