CeNTI on the path of Industry’s Digital Transformation and Sustainability

Since its creation, CeNTI has been asserting itself on the path of Digital Transformation and Sustainability of the Industry. The Technology and Innovation Centre has developed differentiating and high-value solutions for companies, focusing on transferring knowledge and advanced technology.

So far, the R&DT institute has participated in more than 170 Projects in collaboration with the national and international business sectors in various areas.
Among these, the following stand out:

- STVgoDigital, a set of initiatives to boost the digital transition of the entire Textile and Clothing Industry value chain, promoted by the Textile Cluster - Technology and Fashion;

- PAC - Portugal Autocluster for the Future, which aims to generate know-how in the Mobility and Green Economy area and promote a new positioning of the national automotive cluster in the global market;

- AUGMANITY - Augmented Humanity, which intends to anticipate the future, developing new intuitive, immersive and supportive solutions in industrial production environments, focused on Industry 4.0, people and their health;

- Baterias 2030, which seeks to respond, in an integrated and structured way, to the challenges of decarbonisation and the dissemination of sustainable energy communities;

- ActiVas, a commitment to creating new environments for an active, safe and healthy senior life, with greater autonomy and quality of life, fighting the ageing of the population;

- SmartHealth4All, an ecosystem driven by Health Cluster Portugal and focused on the prevention, diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of diseases and other medical conditions based on emerging information, communication and electronic technologies;

- WDS - Water Data Solutions, an innovative system for monitoring, managing the distribution network and assessing water quality, aided by artificial intelligence algorithms;

- Fiber4Fiber, centred on the local production of traceable cellulosic textile fibres (Viscose and Lyocell) based on eucalyptus, to shorten the logistics chain and promote national innovation and a more environmentally friendly European textile industry.
