CeNTI present at a BIOMAT Workshop in Germany
In Wildau, Germany, researchers and professionals have been gathered for a hybrid and free workshop on the theme "Working with SMEs to create a more sustainable Europe", held within the BIOMAT Project scope.
In the initiative, several entities from the business and scientific ecosystem had the opportunity to learn about the innovative technologies and services offered by BIOMAT, accessible free of charge through the Open Tender's 2nd Open Call that will be launched on July 31st (lasting until September 15th). As part of the event, there was also a visit to the partner Fraunhofer IAP facilities.
The international BIOMAT consortium, led by CeNTI, was also gathered in Berlin for the Project General Assembly, in which the work carried out in the last six months and the results expected in the next semester were presented.
Accelerating the European Bioeconomy through the development of bio-based nano-enabled polyurethane (PUR) foams is the Project’s main objective. Running since January 2021, BIOMAT will end in December 2024. Twenty-six entities from 8 countries form the Project consortium: Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Latvia and Israel.
