CeNTI presented innovative projects at ISPO

The Centre promoted, at ISPO Munich, several relevant Projects in the field of Advanced Textiles, such as iHeatex, IPVest, Termicc, 1D Neon and Texboost PPS5. In the exhibition that is one of the biggest products and business fairs in the sports took place from January 26th to 29th, in Munich, Germany.

In its own booth, located at Hall C1, Stand #410 (one of the FROM Portugal villages), CeNTI showed several demonstrators, disseminating various technologies and innovations. The participation in the event also had the support of the CeNTI'25 Project, co-financed by FITEC, Interface Program.

It is important to recall that the presence of CeNTI in this event is already usual, due to the contact and proximity to professionals, specialists and researchers in the field of sports.

Portugal, highlighted at the fair, raises awareness on the importance of Sustainability in Industry

This year, the country was represented at the fair with 3 dedicated areas and Sustainability in Industry was the central theme. Through a Showcase, organized by Selectiva Moda in partnership with Citeve, Portugal intended to draw attention to an emerging theme in the sector.

This year, an increased number of  samples were selected in the ISPO Textrends 2020 contest. A total of 24 samples were exhibited on this platform of innovative textile products, materials and accessories for sports.

In total, 40 Portuguese exhibitors were in Munich, 27 companies  that exhibited in the two Sport Textile Village areas from Portugal, organized by Associação Selectiva Moda in partnership with Citeve, present in Pavilion C1 (materials, manufacturers and accessories) and Pavilion B3 (sportswear and socks).

In addition to these, other Portuguese companies had their own visibility through individual stands, in an offer that includes clothing, sports shoes, knitwear and textile accessories, surf equipment and sports flooring.
