FuEL turned 8 ideas into business
The national program FuEL, which supported eight innovative business ideas, proved to be a success within the business, scientific and technological community. The Project, that boosted qualified and creative entrepreneurship at the national level, was developed by CeNTI, INL and IPN.
Gripwise, Chemitek, BioFeet, SPM Nanosolutions (Mag4Biomed and Mag2Clean), RetailEye, Localista.tech and Impact2Space were the ideas selected and driven by FuEL. The program aimed to stimulate the generation of new business ideas and promote their development, experimental validation and acceleration, in the national and international entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Associated with the FuEL program, was also created the FuEL ROOM an online platform to connect entrepreneurs, institutions and specialists, related to entrepreneurship, knowledge, technology and innovation. Promoting the intersection, dialogue and connection between the various professionals, with a view to leveraging ideas and business, are the main purposes of the platform.
The FuEL - Future Entrepreneurs ’League Project, which ended in December 2019, was an initiative promoted by CeNTI, INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory and IPN - Pedro Nunes Institute and co-financed by Portugal 2020, under the Operational Program for Competitiveness and Internationalization, in the amount of 318 thousand euros from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
