Label alerts to the intake of medication at the right time and dosage

It is a Project by CeNTI, Neutroplast, and Beyond Devices and involves the creation of a smart label to be incorporated into medication packaging such as blister packs or low-cost liquid/powder bottles.

Among other objectives, this technology will contribute to adequate and timely intake of prescribed medication, also monitoring and preserving the appropriate conditions of temperature and humidity for the medicine’s conservation.

With this research, the consortium intends to mitigate a worldwide problem, enhancing the effectiveness of drug therapies. It also aims, inherently, to leverage the regional and national economy, as being a highly attractive solution at pharmaceutical and hospital level.
