Press highlights the impact of SmartEEs2 on the digitalization of companies
The SmartEEs2 Project was news in various media. In addition to the objectives and expected results, the reports highlighted, above all, the role of CeNTI and the impact that the Project has had on the business community. Alongside Dinheiro Vivo, it was featured on Antena Minho, Cidade Hoje, Correio do Minho, Jornal T, Portugal Têxtil, Rádio Universitária do Minho and Vida Económica.
Launched in 2020 and scheduled to end in December, SmartEEs2 is a European Project developed by 14 entities, aiming to accelerate the digitization of companies. CeNTI is the only Portuguese entity involved in this Project, which has a budget of 8 million euros.
Relying on flexible electronics, the Project aims to encourage the development of innovative products such as textiles that relieve pain, clothing that monitors body posture and equipment that emits light.
Close to 50 companies are already benefiting from different services such as testing, electronics manufacturing, development support and training. The entities will also have access to a Pan-European collaboration network.
The SmartEEs2 Project is financed by the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme.
