Wirelox: a device that allows remote monitoring of oxygen
It’s a Project by CeNTI and the Linde Saúde company and aims to develop an easily coupled device to Linde's homelox, allowing remote monitoring of the liquid oxygen level.
The equipment's action involves collecting and sending homelox information wirelessly to Linde's computer system, enabling remote monitoring of different patients.
The innovation is differentiated in the market by the incorporation of different technologies and the ability to predict the oxygen substitution of patients.
In addition to the prototype design concept that couples to the homelox, the Project includes the creation of hardware and firmware for information acquisition and actuation, as well as the development of firmware for the exchange of information with Linde’s management platform.
Since the system needs electricity to operate, a battery will be attached so that it can work autonomously.
Wirelox is a national Copromotion – I&D Empresas COVID-19 project, co-financed by Portugal 2020, under the Operational Programme for Competitiveness and Internationalization (COMPETE 2020) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
