The SMARTORTHOSIS project aims at the development of a pressure monitoring system for cranial orthoses, equipped with a communication system that allows the collection of data during the treatment of Positional Plagiocephaly. This project is carried out in co-promotion from IPCA, ISEP and CeNTI (SI & I).

 

Main goals

1. Development of a procedure for the production of personalized cranial Positional plagiocephaly (PP). Based on the 3D model of the child's head, only then will a better fit spelling be presented; 

2. Development of the cranial system with an integrated system for aids in the treatment of positional plagiocephaly; 

3. A proposed solution has the potential to remain in place, improving the correction effect and improving the final aesthetic result.
