The iDOURECA project is conceived by a consortium that joins Doureca, CeNTI and PIEP, enhancing the interactions between the user and the car safer and more functional, while maintaining aesthetic and decorative features. By this, polymeric injected moulded parts for the interior and exterior of the automobile will be developed. 

Main goals

  1. Develop functional and decorative polymeric automotive parts, molded by injection molding technologies for vehicle interior and exterior;
  2. RADAR invisible exterior component with metallic / chrome effect, anti/de-icing and anti-scratch and / or anti-UV features;

  3. Three-dimensional textured interior component with anti-fingerprinting functionality and integrated electronics with gesture/touch detection capability.
