Wireless communication for real-time kinematics measurement
The objective of the IoKT [Internet of Kinematic Things] project is to develop a wireless communication platform capable of real time tracking of objects´ kinematic data. This platform will be composed by an unified hardware and software solution aimed at the optimization of movement estimation of objects under the effect of severe acceleration and/or rotation conditions.
Main goals
This complete platform can be integrated and adapted to a broad set of physical objects, allowing the development of intelligent movement tracking solutions associated with rich media, context and location awareness, among others, with possible applications in areas such as sports and leisure, health and wellbeing, Industry 4.0, or education, among others.
