How can advanced materials, applied nanotechnology, and smart systems drive sustainability? What has been CeNTI's role as an agent of innovation and technological transformation?

These were the main themes of the Centre's intervention at the 3rd edition of "Encontros com Futuro 2025", an initiative that took place on 25 September, National (Portuguese) Sustainability Day, at the Serralves Foundation in Porto (Portugal). 

Promoted by Público (a Portuguese newspaper) and REN (Portuguese electricity and gas supplier), the event challenged national and international experts to rethink the present and future of sustainability.

As part of the panel dedicated to "ESG as a driver of innovation and risk management: success stories and effective strategies", CeNTI shared its vision and strategic approach on how technological innovation can advance sustainability.

As a Centre for Technology and Innovation, it showcased disruptive solutions and impactful results developed in collaboration with industry, underlining its commitment to responsible innovation and sustainable development.

Its presentation also featured relevant case studies in terms of decarbonisation, digitalisation, and the circular economy.
