Bringing the public closer to technological innovation developed in Portugal was one of the main objetives of the GreenAuto Experience - 'Where innovation happens', an event held on 24 and 25 January at the Palácio do Gelo Shopping Centre in Viseu (Portugal). The initiative that took place within the framework of GreenAuto: Green Innovation for the Automotive Industry, a national Agenda in which CeNTI is a member of the consortium. 

Open to the community, the event showcased a range of disruptive solutions that leverage technology and robotics to address current and future challenges in the automotive industry. Various simulators related to sustainable mobility were also highlighted. Over the two days, visitors had the opportunity  to see, learn about, and experience several unique applications.

Led by Peugeot Citroën Automóveis Portugal, S.A., the GreenAuto Agenda aims to position the Portuguese automotive sector within the value chain of low-emission vehicles. To achieve this goal, innovative, digital, and sustainable products and processes have been developed, associated to the production of vehicles and their components.

CeNTI was part of Working Group WP2 – Intelligent, Functionalised and Digital Materials – New concepts for the automotive interior, where it developed advanced solutions and materials to help transform the automotive cabin into a 'third living space', enhancing comfort, safety, and thermal performance.

GreenAuto is funded by the European Commission's Recovery and Resilience Facility.
