The solutions developed under the AM2R Project – Mobilising Agenda for Business Innovation in the Two-Wheel Sector were showcased at several events held in Portugal and Germany, demonstrating the potential of Portuguese innovation to address the challenges of sustainable mobility.

In addition to the closing event of the Mobilising Agenda, held in Águeda, the Project was represented at the 3rd Meeting of the Mobilising Agendas for Business Innovation, in Santa Maria da Feira, and at Eurobike, the world's leading international trade fair for the bicycle and e-mobility industry, held in Frankfurt, Germany.

While Eurobike provided an opportunity to showcase the solutions developed in Portugal to manufacturers, decision-makers and industry leaders from around the world, the national events highlighted the main achievements and results of the Mobilising Agenda to the scientific community, industry stakeholders and public authorities.

Among the solutions developed with CeNTI's know-how are a high-visibility jacket incorporating reflective and phosphorescent elements, a smart backpack capable of signalling changes of direction and sudden braking, and ergonomic bicycle grips that, when connected to the backpack, vibrate and alert cyclists to the approach of other vehicles. In addition, lighting systems were developed to warn cyclists of potential hazards on the road and an inductive charging system for e-bikes batteries.

Through these solutions, the AM2R Project contributes to strengthening the international competitiveness of the two-wheel sector by promoting innovation, sustainability, digitalisation, and the development of higher value-added products, processes and services for Portuguese industry.
