Portuguese Prime Minister at the inauguration of CeNTI's new facilities

The Portuguese Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, attended the inauguration ceremony of CeNTI's new facilities. At the session, held on December 16th in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal, the Government leader highlighted the importance of the Centre in the area of technological Research and Development (R&D) and its contribution to future innovation, with national and international impact.

Mário Passos, Mayor of Vila Nova de Famalicão, António Amorim, Chairman of CeNTI's Board of Directors, and António Braz Costa, CeNTI's General Director, were part of the large delegation that had the opportunity to visit the new building and its several infrastructures. 

Over a hundred guests were able to know more about the different work areas, including the new laboratories, cutting-edge equipment, pilot lines and the team.

These new facilities meet the Centre's growing scientific and technological activity, marked by disruptive solutions and products resulting from R&D Projects in different areas such as Health, Energy, Mobility and Construction.
